Listed below are the "Major," "Moderate" and "Minor" barriers individuals give as Excuses for not participating in physical activity or exercise.  These barriers were reported in a 1995 survey by the Canadian Fitness and Lifestyle Research Institute in which more than 2500 Canadians were asked "What prevents you from being more active, eh?"  Click the "Major," "Moderate," and "Minor" buttons on the navigation bar to the left to learn strategies to counter these excuses/barriers.
