Play/Work with your children. Take them on a hike,
bike ride. Play sports with them - their energy level is
endless! Employ your children - rake leaves, plant a garden, sweep out
the garage together. The family that sweats together....sticks
together! |

ASP - Alternate Spousal Parenting. One of you take off
for 30 minutes while the other watches the kids and start food preparation.
Switch off when your partner returns. Upon return - dinner will be
served. |

Hire a local baby sitter or make use of the kid's play at
the local fitness center. Better yet drop them off at a neighbors or
relatives - but be prepared to have to reciprocate someday. |

Jog around the field while they are at little league or
soccer practice. You can keep one eye their performance and the other
on potholes. |

Baby Jogger or bike seat. You've seen it on TV - now
you too can walk/jog/run with your baby in stroller, or in tow. The
extra weight or pushing may increase intensity and its a great role modeling
experience. |
